DDJ-WeGO: software & firmware updates

This firmware is a system software program for your DJ CONTRLLER.
Please update the firmware to the latest version to enhance the product's performance.

Please read Firmware Update Guide to check the firmware version of your DJ CONTROLLER and how to update the firmware.

Notice to Windows 8 / 8.1 users
Installation issue with Microsoft Windows 8 / 8.1

Notice to Mac OS X 10.10 / 10.9 / 10.8 users
Apple has tightened its security in OS X 10.8 (Mountain Lion) and later versions.
So you may see an alert dialogue when you install driver software or firmware downloaded from Pioneer Support Web page.
The alert dialogue shows "[File name] can’t be opened because it is from an unidentified developer". Please follow the steps below to open the file and install it.

1. Open [Finder].
2. Click the downloaded file or right-click (or control-click) it and select [Open] from the displayed menu.
3. Select [Open] in the displayed dialogue.
4. Follow the instruction in the dialogue to complete the installation.

About installation of Java
Java is required to be installed on your computer before running the update file.

• Java is not pre-installed in OS X 10.10 (Yosemite).
  Please download and install Java into your computer from http://java.com.
  Please see the Firmware Update Guide for further details.
• If you attempt to download Java with the Edge browser in Windows 10, the "In Windows 10, the Edge browser does not support plug-ins and therefore will not run Java.
  Switch to a different browser to run the Java plug-in." message will be displayed, but click [Agree and Start Free Download] below the message to download Java anyway.

About unzipping the downloaded file
If a jar file is not generated even after unzipping the downloaded zip file, please follow the instruction below to unzip the file.

1. Open a Finder window and navigate through the following directories: “System/Library/CoreServices”. Then, double click [Archive Utility] to run the application.
2. Click on [Archive Utility] in the menu bar and select [Preferences].
3. Remove the tick from the checkbox next to [Keep expanding if possible].

This driver will allow you to connect your DDJ to a computer.
Please read the Manual for the installation procedure.

Unzip the downloaded file "PioneerDDJ****exe.zip". This file will appear: PioneerDDJ****.exe

Mac OS users:
You don't have to install this driver software. Mac OS standard audio driver will be automatically installed when your DDJ is connected to your Mac with a USB cable.

• Support for 64-bit version of Windows 10 / 8.1 / 7.

Supported OS version and Latest information

Please use this Setting File in this page when you use DDJ-WeGO as a controller for "TRAKTOR PRO 2 Ver 2.6.0" supported by Native Instruments.
This Setting File is required when Native Instruments TRAKTOR PRO 2 Ver.2.6.0 is used with DDJ-WeGO.
There are some precautions before using.

Before use:

• Need to update DDJ-WeGO Firmware to the latest one(Ver.1.05 or later).
• Need to update TRAKTOR PRO2 to Ver.2.6.0.

Refer to Hardware diagram below for TRAKTOR PRO 2.
